Okay, I know some of you wanna start writing songs. It's spring, inspiration is budding, music is literally in the air. Come on to class, walk, run, take a bike or hitch-hike, and capture alittle bit of the rapture. Yes, this time around it's gonna cost you, but not a whole lot, $75 for ten weeks. We do have fun. People who have never written do get inspired and the songs happen- it's true. You've probably heard a few stories yourself. Signing up ASAP is highly recommended as there is limited spots on one end, and if not enough people sign up the class wont even go...ah, the delicate balance. A few months ago I realized that it was time to leave my residence of 17 years. It was summer. I had the time; I'd been contemplating this for a while. Every time I felt into it if it was time, I got a big fat YES, so I gave notice. A few days before it was time to leave it suddenly dawned on me, this was a way bigger event than I had imagined. Why did I decide to do this? I have WAY more stuff than I thought...there is so much to clean... I'm never gonna get this all done on time...what was I thinking?
Then I remember that big fat YES I had to doing it in the first place. I returned to that initial inspiration: Yes, it's time. I opened to that YES. It all flowed graciously from that point on. Angels (my friends) helped, things fell into line, I got out easefully with two hours to spare. Magic.
